ENGLAND NAMED 23 MAN SQUAD FOR EURO 2016

Roy Hodgson  announced an initial 26-man England squad for Euro2016.There were a few surprises as Manchester United  golden-boy Marcus Rashford, Arsenal's injury prone Jack Wilshire were included, while Theo Walcott, Phil Jagielka, Jermain Defoe & Mark Noble were excluded from the provisional squad.

All participating teams are expected to submit their 23-mansquads by 31st May. The manager said that Rashford could knock someone off their perch and that the youngster understands the competition in the national team. Walcott's post on social media,regarding his exclusion read,  "I am of course disappointed not to make the squad, but I have spoken with Roy and respect his decision."
